As a serial L-plate test repeater, I was apprehensive about ever being confident or able enough to go for my P's. I booked a few lessons with Southside Driving School, and from the first drive with Mal, I felt in control and calm. His instructions are clear and reassuring, and every correction he makes, he explains why he is correcting you. I also did the Test Day Package, which was invaluable. With Mal waiting for me at the RTA, I entered my test calm, and already in the right head space after driving for an hour beforehand. I passed first go. Thank you Mal, for the use of your car, your expertise, and your professional, friendly and approachable manner- and obviously, for helping me pass my driving test!
